CHAPTER II Nightstands

I know it was a real cliff hanger at the end of my story about dressers.  I never even really fully developed my characters in Chapter II on nightstands.  My previous nightstands were dwarfed by the new King sized bed (I swore I'd never have a bed that big, but I've got to admit that I love it).  The dresser hunt led to one properly scaled nightstand for my room.  My Norm Abrams of a husband just built another nightstand on a whim one day.  Let me introduce the happy couple.

This lovely girl is Sadie's old "dresser".  It worked when her clothes were tinier. It got a fresh coat of paint and new knobs.

 

 

 

This is the one that Corey built on a whim the day that I was painting all that furniture.  His goal was to make me want his version on my side of the bed, but he didn't quite convince me.  I like the drawers on mine.  And yes, I've taken my Christmas decorations down.  I took these picture weeks ago.  GEEZ!

 

 

As for Chapter III, sadly the occasional tables sit in the living room unpainted.  See!

 



 

Someday, they'll be white or cream or something similar.  They don't bother me enough right now I guess.
